  • Currently, all our conversions are built on 2018+ MWB Mercedes-Benz Sprinters. These vans provide the perfect balance of space, reliability, and driving comfort, making them an excellent base for our builds.

  • We work with a number of trusted partners to source both brand-new and used vehicles for conversion. We don’t add anything to the price for sourcing the vehicle on your behalf.

    If you already have a van that meets the correct specification, we’re also very happy to convert that for you.

  • Yes. As standard, we provide a 12-month conversion warranty through Fern Campervans, giving you peace of mind with your build.

  • All our Fern Fox campervans are rated below 3.5 tonnes when fully laden and transporting two people, which means they can be driven on a standard UK driving licence.

    If your vehicle has additional weight requirements or is a four-berth model, you may need a C1 driving licence. If you passed your driving test after 1 January 1997, this will require an additional driving test

  • We’re located on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset. You’re always welcome to give us a call and arrange a visit to our workshop.

  • Our builds typically take 6–8 weeks to complete. At the moment, our build slots are usually booked around 3–4 months in advance

  • Never say never. We’re always happy to discuss other base vehicles, but please be aware that these builds may have longer lead times and could involve additional design costs

  • Our vans come with an EIC certificate confirming electrical compliance with BS 7671.

    In addition, we base our builds on the more stringent New Zealand NZS 5465:2001 standards for campervan construction, which we find to be far more comprehensive than the current UK equivalent.

  • Yes. All of our vans are fully winterised, making them suitable for use throughout the year

  • No. All of our builds are fully electric, removing the need for gas systems and keeping things simple and safe
