  • All our conversions are built on 2018+ MWB Mercedes-Benz Sprinters. These vans provide the perfect balance of space, reliability, and driving comfort, making them an excellent base for our builds.

  • We work with a number of trusted partners to source both brand-new and used vehicles for conversion. We don’t add anything to the price for sourcing the vehicle on your behalf.

If you already have a van that meets the correct specification, we’re also very happy to convert that for you.

  • Colours, fabrics and anything that makes the campervan fit your style are all customisable. The Kiwi cross system is fully customisable too and we can design adapters that fit your specific needs. The main layout, systems and core build remains consistent across our builds so that we can offer the best value and quality.

  • Yes. As standard, we provide a 12-month conversion warranty through Fern Campervans, giving you peace of mind with your build.

  • All our Fern Fox campervans are rated to 3.5 tonnes which means they can be driven on a standard UK driving licence.

If you need additional payload we can help you have the vehicle registered to 4 tonnes. Please note there would be a cost associated with this and you would need a C1 driving licence. If you passed your driving test before 1 January 1997 and are under 70 years of age this will already be included with your UK license. For anyone else, you would need to take an additional driving test.

  • We’re located on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset. You’re always welcome to give us a call and arrange a visit to our workshop.

  • Our builds typically take 6–8 weeks to complete. At the moment, our build slots are usually booked around 3–4 months in advance.

  • Never say never. We’re always happy to discuss other base vehicles, but please be aware that these builds may have longer lead times and could involve additional design costs

  • Our vans come with an EIC certificate confirming electrical compliance with BS 7671.

In addition, we base our builds on the more stringent New Zealand NZS 5465:2001 standards for campervan construction, which we find to be far more comprehensive than the current UK equivalent.

  • Yes! All of our vans are fully winterised, deeply insulated, and come with a 4kw diesel heater as standard, making them suitable for use throughout the year. We even include a wash down point for cleaning off muddy gear.

  • No. All of our builds are fully electric, removing the need for gas systems and keeping things simple and safe.
